Mary, you have done more in the last 10+ years than most ppl could dream about in a lifetime. The number of ppl that you have effected in a positive way is incredible. Even all of us on facebook. We talk and support each other. Without you we would never have known each other. I can’t imagine my life without the mark you have made upon it.

I totally agree with Lisa and Kim. Mary I thank god every day for finding your site. Without it I would not be where I am today…… Free of Cushings and finally moving on with my life. You are an angel sent stright from heven.

Just wanted to add much love and thanks for everything you have done. You probably don’t even know how many lives you have touched, and saved! Although I don’t have an official diagnosis yet, I did find out about being GH deficient so if I ever get insurance to cooperate hopefully that will improve symptoms. Thanks again:)

You have touched my Life in so many amazing ways Mary-O, if not for you the entire journey would be alone and on the wrong side of the street. Thank you so much for working as hard as you do, with such passion and love for others. You inspire me on my darkest days and make me smile on the good ones~ Thank You Mary -O for being exactly who you needed to be to change the face of Cushing’s Awareness. Your life is a beautiful, smooth rock thrown into the pond of need, rippling it’s knowledge through us all.

This site has literally saved my life and the people that I’ve met have added greatness to it. I am blessed because of it. The information is available FREE to all and no arm twisting is done to make you donate anything. If you are stressed over posts from others that remind us of the expenses or to give back in support, I think it is your own conscience bothering you.
Don’t worry about it. Nobody is judging you over donating or not, disability or mega rich. You do what moves you and nothing more, nothing less. As for cost cutting, saving $$ by doing things differently, well I guess that for whatever reasons, MaryO has settled on this format after 14 years of learning and adapting. So be it. It is not for us to decide what is a waste and what may be a better cost. Don’t stress over it.

I’m so grateful for this site as I feel so in the dark about testing and if I’m doing everything right. Thank you to the people who work to make this site possible!

Exactly, I have to give Mary and her original Cushing’s – help board a lot of credit. I still remember the day after 4 years of being progressively sick, I had seen a new doctor that suspected Cushing’s and I came right home and found Mary Kelly O’Connor’s board. That was in 2007, it was truly a life- saver!

You know, I think this is a wonderful thing you do for those that pass. I think everyone wants to be remembered and appreciate you doing this.

These boards and support groups are life saving. When I read over and over again other people’s stories that are the same as mine, I feel affirmed. And affirmation is hard to come by with this disease.

My key was the very best minimally invasive surgeon I could find on the planet. I found him, with much help from selfless and thorough Cushing’s advice source Mary O’Connor’s Cushings-help.com.

Mary is my true hero in the lifelong Cushing’s story of my time. Without her dedication to Cushing’s and helping other people find help, I would be somewhere today lost & still fluttering in the wind, undiagnosed or probably dead…Mary runs her site out of pocket, so please stop over and donate to her cause, I use Paypal. 🙂

She is truly and directly saving lives with her work, and at the very least should not have to be worried about money to keep the place going. She also has health issues of her own that I would prefer to see magically disappear and fix, for Mary deserves a long healthy happy life with Tom. 🙂
