šŸ¦“ Day 18, Cushingā€™s Awareness Challenge

Cushie Crusader, thatā€™s meā€¦and many others. Ā I think we all have an opportunity to be Cushie Crusaders every time we tell others about our illness, share our story on or offline, post about our struggles ā€“ and triumphs ā€“ on the message boards, write blog posts in this Cushingā€™s Awareness Challengeā€¦

When we have prayer time in my handbell practice or choir rehearsals I try to mention issues that are going on in the Cushingā€™s community. Ā People are slowly but steadily learning about Cushingā€™s week by week.

A piano student mentioned that a person in a group she is in has Cushingā€™s, a non-Cushie friend mentioned last week that she had gone with a friend of hers to an endo appointment to discuss Cushingā€™s.

Get out there and talk about Cushingā€™s. Ā Let people know that itā€™s not just for dogs and horses (and sometimes ferrets)!

Hereā€™s something I had made for Sue with SuperSueĀ embroidered on the back.
